One of five gold miners who were rescued in #Tanzania after being trapped underground for forty-one days has died. Onyiwa Morris was taken to hospital after his rescue last week suffering problems with his digestive system. The miners had survived on roots, soil, and insects after a shaft collapsed, blocking their exit from the mine. They'd gone into the makeshift facility to search for twelve missing colleagues. Officials say those men are presumed to have died. (Correspondents say unregulated gold mines in Tanzania are notoriously unstable, and accidents are common).
