Buhari's Aide Stole Missing Budget, Replaced with Fake - Saraki

The Senate President, Senator Bukola Saraki has specifically accused the Senior Special Assistant to President Muhammadu Buhari on National Assembly Matters,

Buhari
Senator Ita Solomon Enang of masterminding the disappearance of the missing 2016 budget.
Senator Saraki made the assertion rising from a closed-door meeting with the Senate committee tasked to investigate the disappearance of the budget.

The Senate President has raised alarm that there are two different versions of the 2016 Budget proposal in circulation.

Saraki said that Senator Enang is behind the stealing and replacing the budget with an entirely different copy of the budget after Senator Enang produced and was circulating a copy different from what he had.

Senate confirms it received "a different copy " of the 2016 Budget from the Presidency
From about 1pm today, Thursday 14th January, 2016, our senate confirmed that indeed, it has received a different copy of ‪#‎Budget2016‬ from the Presidency as delivered to them by the SSA to the President regarding the Congress, Ita Enang.
Read the tweets the following tweets from the Senate:
1. @NGRSenate: The Senate in a Closed Session discussed the ‪#‎2016AppropriationBill‬ and has received the report from the Committees.
2 @NgrSenate: SP@bukolasaraki also adds that the Senate also received a different version of the ‪#‎2016Budget‬ from SSA to @MBuhari, Ita Enang.

Saraki who stated this after the closed door session which lasted for two hours said that Senator Ita Enang withdrew Mr. President version and submitted another version.

He said: “We came to a resolution that since we have two versions of the 2016 Budget, we will only accept the one presented by President Buhari.

“While the President submitted one, the Special Adviser presented another one, hence the reason for the investigation.”

The Senate on Wednesday confirmed that the 2016 budget was, in reality, missing. The Senate President Bukola Saraki while reacting to a point of order raised on the budget by Senator Abaribe Enyinaya said some Senators have been given the assignment to search for it.

Elombah.com had broken the shocking news on Tuesday that the 2016 budget, which was personally delivered by President Muhammadu Buhari at a joint session of the National Assembly on December 22, 2015., had gone missing.
