Dating ideas that can help you both lose weight ..

Traditional date ideas consist of movies, restaurants or going out for dessert, and unfortunately none of those activities promote a healthy lifestyle. And if you are trying to get into shape and shed a few pounds, you have to eliminate opportunities for getting off track. That means to stop using date nights as an excuse to treat yourself. There are plenty of fun date ideas that will not only strengthen the bond between the two of you but also your body and muscles.

1. TRY OUT ROCK CLIMBING

As a way of switching #things up, take your significant other for a climb up the wall! Rock climbing is a great cardiovascular workout that can approximately burn around 500-900 #calories in an hour if breaks are kept to a minimum. It also guarantees you an experience that your body won’t let you forget for several days after. So give your upper #body a work out the fun way!

2. GET ON A BOAT OR GO KAYAKING

What is more romantic than getting on a boat or going kayaking with your significant other close to sunset? You’ll be able to enjoy beautiful scenery, spend some quality time isolated by water and really work out your #arm muscles! Plus this type of activity is usually really affordable, good for the soul, mind, and your wallet!

3. BIKE IN THE PARK OR ALONG THE BEACH

Biking is a really great workout that burns about 483 #calories per hour on average and seems like an effortless way to get in shape. Rent a few bikes and cycle across the city or ride on the boardwalk and enjoy the atmosphere! You’ll be able to chat, learn more about each other and burn off your breakfast. Now that’s what I call multi-tasking.

4. HOLD HANDS WHILE ICE-SKATING

During the winter season it’s a lot harder to do something that is physically demanding. The weather outside prevents you from enjoying the outdoors and all you want to do is snuggle up in a blanket and marathon your favorite shows. However, hibernation is not for us, so one way to take advantage of the winter season is to go ice-skating. It’s a fun activity that gets your heart going and motivates you to go outside!

5. TAKE A HIKE FOR A BEAUTIFUL VIEW.

If you happen to know nearby trails that are available to the public, take up hiking with your man or #woman! Add a little adventure to your #relationship and explore the outdoors. You never know what you might see or what memories you’ll make, but it will definitely be something different from what you would get from a date at the movie theater.

.6. SOAK UP THE SUN AT THE BEACH OR THE POOL.

Swimming is all in all a great exercise that works out all of the parts of your #body without you even realizing it. So spend the day near the water and make sure to spend a good fraction of the time swimming instead of tanning to really make it count as an #exercise for the day.

7. TAKE A CLASS TOGETHER.

If your significant other is just as into working out as you are, don’t be afraid to ask him or her to join you at a fitness class. It can be a bonding experience that can turn into a tradition in your relationship. And please don’t be afraid to break a sweat, you’ll #look good no matter what!

Say no to sedentary dates and spice things up by incorporating healthy habits into your #relationship. Not only will this aid both of you in looking your best but it will also provide with more variety in the experiences that you share.
