AKWA United players and officials will be rewarded with car gifts by the state government for winning their first Federation Cup.
The Promise Keepers won a historic first Federation Cup yesterday at the Teslim Balogun Stadium edging out Lobi Stars 2-1 in the final.
A club source also said that Micheal Eddidiong, a member of the Golden Eaglets squad that came tops at the last FIFA U-17 World Cup in Chile, who is an indigene of the state, will also benefit from the gesture.
"Each player will get a car for their effort in winning the Federation Cup. Also Micheal, the Golden Eaglet player who made the squad to Chile, will also be rewarded by the state government.
