The judgment of the supreme court delivered on friday 29th january 2016 has confirmed that pdp had no legitimate candidate in the last national assembly elections held in anambra state as the candidates who contested the election as PDP candidates were unlawfully included in the ballot .
therefore, in the light of the provisions of sections 140/141 of the electoral act 2010 ( as amended) APGA therefore calls upon INEC to issue certificates of return to the APGA candidates who came second in the election.
the provisions of sections 140/141 of the electoral act are clear to the extent that anyperson who did not participate at every stage of the election can never be returned as having won the election.
we therefore call on INEC to issue without delay certificates of return to the APGA candidates as the lawful winners of the national assembly elections.
