List of the 27 suspected hoodlums in Anambra

Police parade native doctor, 27 suspected hoodlums in Anambra 48 renounce cult membership By Gracia Obi
No fewer than 28 suspected members of some cult groups who allegedly belong to the notorious Vikings Confraternity and kidnappers.

Also paraded were two native doctors said to be allegedly preparing charms for armed robbers and kidnappers, as 48 others that had been terrorizing the people of Obosi and its environs also renounced their membership of the dangerous groups at the police headquarters in Awka.

Parading the suspects, the State Commissioner of Police, Mr Hosea Karma, warned all criminals in the state to relocate as the Police is determined to search them out and arrest them, Karma urged parents to mind their wards, as the increasing rate of cultism among students is becoming worrisome.

The suspects are Izuchukwu Asomughu, Ugonna Mouneke, Izundu Kenechukwu, Okonkwo Kenneth, Jideofor Aronu, Emeka Eneh, Ebuka Samuel, Nonso Nwokoye, Ekene Nsofor, Chukwuemego ike, Ifeanyi Amajiri, Sopuluchukwu Onyenewli, Arinze Okechukwu, Ilozue Udoka, Victor Ogbonna, Ndulue Uche Kosisochukwu, Amichi Nwaye, Anthony Ifeanyi, Okechukwu Osegbo, Atuegbu Emmanuel, Unachukwu Okwudili, Junior Obigieze, Chukwuemeka Tochukwu, Chibuike Chibueze, Okonkwo Nnamdi, Chukwuma Chiagozie, Chigozie Nweke and Patrick Anagor.

Several arms and ammunition were recovered from the criminal suspects.
The Commissioner of Police disclosed to our correspondent that the suspects were arrested by the Command Anti-Cultism Department at Enugwu-Ukwu.

"They were arrested at different locations in the State which include; Ogidi, Obosi, Nnnewi, Awka, Ezinifite, College of Education, Nsugbe, Ihiala, Nkpor, Uli". He said.
