RECALL THAT THE GOV HAD SETUP A COMBINED TASK FORCE WHICH INCLUDES THE POLICE, ARMY, CIVIL DEFENCE, NDLEA AMONG OTHERS TO FLUSH OUT CRIMINAL ELEMENTS IN ANAMBRA ESPECIALLY IN ONITSHA ABT ONE YEAR AGO,BUT SADLY THESE CRIMINALS HAVE RETURNED BACK TO ONITSHA TERRORISING INNOCENT CITIZENS ESPECIALLY AT THE NOTORIOUS UPPER IWEKA,CD CONDUCTED AN INVESTIGATION INTO THEIR CRIMINAL ACTIVITIES AND OBSERVED THAT MUST OF THEM CARRY BIG WOODEN STICK AND TARGET KEKE AND OKADA RIDERS TO EXTORT MONEY FROM THEM IN THE FULL GLARE OF OPERATION NKPOCHAPU MEN,OUR INVESTIGATION ALSO REVEALED THAT POLICE OFFICERS WERE GIVEN DAILY RETURNS BY BUS DRIVERS WHO ALLOW THEM TO LOAD ALONG ONITSHA OWERRI ROAD IN TURN CAUSING SERIOUS TRAFFIC HOLD UP.CD CONDEMN LACK OF POLITICAL WILL BY D GOV OBIANO TO ENFORCE D BAN OF OKADA RIDERS TO FEDERAL HIGH WAYS LIKE OSHA OWERRI ROAD, OSHA/ASABA AWKA ENUGU HIGH WAYS ETC,CD LEARNT THAT AN AVERAGE OF 4 OKADA MAN IS KILLED EVERY WEEK DUE TO GHASTLY MOTOR ACCIDENT IN THESE RDs.OSHA IS LITTERED WITH FILTH MAKING IT THE DIRTIEST CITY IN ÑIG.
