Breathtaking: Daredevil slackliners eye world record

Walking between two cliffs with a thin line being the only thing keeping you balanced, that's the challenge some daredevil slackliners are taking on during the ongoing Highline Extreme event at Moleson, Switzerland.

Starting Thursday, best slackliners across Europe have gathered at Moleson, a mountain of the Swiss Prealps, for the four-day event.

The participants have six different races in which they can compete, with lines ranging from a distance of 45 meters (148 feet) to 495 meters (1,624 feet).

If someone can actually complete the 495-meter race, that would be a new world record, reported China Foto Press.
