The release of "The Adventures Of Wapipi Jay",
the first ever Ghanaian pó'rnographic movie in
2007 sent shock-waves down the spines of many decent people.
Indeed most people especially those who identified some of the principal characters in the movie could not fathom why their own kith and kin could engage in such abominable venture. Despite the huge anger and protestations, the producers of the movie, Wakiki Entertainment have released part 2, which is being sold especially amongst the Ghanaian community abroad. Some are also believed to be available in some shops in
Ghana. The pó'rn was done in the form of a local
twi movie with cast, crew and producers all coming
from Ghana.
Sound tracks for the movie had songs from artistes
including Lumba, Ofori Amponsah, K.K Fosu and
others. The principal characters include two males,
Wapipi Jay and K. Bonsu whiles their female
partners are Adjoa, Akosua, Fatima and others.
Although the movie was purported to have been
shot on locations in New York and Los Angeles, the
appearance of the rooms used looked like hostels
in Ghana.
