He might have been prophesying the day he said this---
"Rivers State has never played opposition politics, opposition will never win in Rivers, we belong to the mainstream, no one will take Rivers people to opposition, no one....."
The gods of Rivers state must have been listening. And they concurred with him. These gods and people of Rivers state may collaborate to help his prophecy come true by kicking his party out of power and replacing them with the party in power at the center.
No tears for those who fall from grace.
