Obi lauds Anambra govt, visits accident victims

The former governor of Anambra State, Mr. Peter Obi has commended Anambra State Government's response to the tragedy in Umuchu that claimed many lives.

Obi, who visited the victims of the motor accident at Visitation Hospital, Umuchu, gave the town moral and monetary support, was delighted when the President General, PG, of the town, Kingsley Onunkwo briefed him on what the town did and would do.

The PG also explained to him how some individuals and organizations, especially the Anambra government had come to their aid.

"Governor Willie Obiano visited the scene and pledged to pay the hospital bill of the victims."
