To pay for her 3-year-old grandson's leukemia treatment, a grandma has been selling blow-up dolls to migrant workers in Langfang, Hebei Province.
Photos taken on Thursday show the woman named Yang, dressed in men's clothing, selling the dolls together with her afflicted grandson. On the cardboard in front of the two doll models, Yang asked migrant workers to buy a "temporary wife" at a cost of 298 yuan (47 US dollars) each, as a favor for her family.
She told cnsphoto.com that they are from a Sichuan village, and her grandson is now receiving treatment at a Langfang hospital. The cost of the treatment is so huge that the family has run out of money, so she came up with the idea of selling blow-up dolls.
