President Muhammadu Buhari has arrived the United Arab Emirates
(UAE) today, January 17 for a three-day official visit to the arab
country.
On arrival, Buhari was received by Sheikh Sultan Bin Zayed, 3rd Deputy
Prime Minister of the UAE and Ambassador of Nigeria to UAE, Ibrahim
Auwalu at the presidential wing of the Abu Dhabi International Airport,
UAE.

While in the country, Buhari will be the special guest of honour at the
2016 World Future Energy Summit, holding between January 18-21, hosted
by Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Zayed Al-Nahyan of Abu Dhabi.

Ban Ki Moon, the secretary general of the United Nations, and many more global leaders will also be attending the 4-day event.
This is president’s second foreign trip of the year, after his official visit to Cotonou, Benin, for the 11th summit of the Niger Basin Authority on January 8.
