Police in Michigan, are looking for a man who shot
a stranger over a bag of chips. Police are
investigating the shooting, which occurred on
Tuesday night, after a man refused to give up his
bag of potato chips. WWWN reports
The shooting occurred about 9:30p.m. near Eight Mile and Dequindre in Detroit, police said. The 59-year-old victim told police that he was walking in the 20300 block of Conant, when a man walked up to him and snatched his chips from his hand. The victim told the thief that he wanted his snack back. However, when the thief
refused, he grabbed the snack out of the
suspect's hand. That is when the suspect
pulled a gun and shot the victim in the
groin, police said. The victim was taken to
a nearby hospital, where he is said to be in
stable condition.
The shooter was described as having a
dark complexion, about 19 years old, 5
feet 6 inches tall and weighing 135 pounds.
He was last seen wearing a black baseball
cap, short sleeve black shirt and black
jeans
