A socio-cultural group in Bayelsa State, Izon Ibe Youth Assembly, on Sunday alleged that a former Special Assistant to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Waripamowei Dudafa, has been fraternizing with the administration of President Muhammadu Buhari by releasing sensitive documents to the government.
The organisation specially said the ex-Presidential Aide was responsible for the document containing details of the recent probe of $6.9 million mobile stage for public events.
Spokesman of IYA, Jones Opugu, in a statement in Yenagoa said Dudafa was "a traitor and a disgrace to the Ijaw nation."
Acct him, the reason was to be in the good book of the new administration and possibly avoid invitation by the Department of State Services (DSS) to account for his actions while in government.
The group said the allegations were "true and on good authority" adding that it has resolved to expose the former presidential aide for him to account for what it described as "the huge money in his possession".
The statement read in parts: "It is regrettable that in this season of betrayal of our own son and former President Goodluck Jonathan, a very close aide like Waripamowei Dudafa could be an associated traitor. We have it on good authority and have subsequently found out to be true that Dudafa was behind the latest probe where his former boss and former Petroleum Minister, Diezani Allison-Madueke, were alleged to have purchased three pieces of 40 feet mobile stages for mass public speaking at $6.9 million.
