As Nigerians await the unveiling of President Buhari's
ministerial list, sources at the Department of State
Security have revealed some names that made the
list and have undergone screening by the DSS.
They include Human rights lawyer Femi Falana,
frontline Economist Pat Utomi, former Nigerian
Breweries MD Festus Odimegwu, former Osun state
governor Olagunsoye Oyinlola, Former MD of the
Federal Inland Revenue, Mrs. Ifueko Omoigui-Okaru,
Former Chief of Army Staff Lt. Gen Abdulrahman
Dambazu rtd, former Legal Adviser of the defunct
Congress for Progressive Change CPC Abubakar
Malami(rtd) and former Commissioner for DFFinance
in Lagos state, Wale Edun.
However, the nominees are yet to give any
confirmation on the supposed screening which may
not be far-fetched from the fact that appointments of
this nature are treated cautiously in the official circle.
DSS sources said the ministerial nominees concluded
their screening last week Friday September 11th.
