Uwazuruike sacrificed a lot for Ndigbo — MASSOB

Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign States of Biafra, MASSOB, said its Leader, Chief Ralph Uwazuruike, has gone through a lot of deprivation and pain for the interest of Ndigbo in Nigeria.

MASSOB's Acting Director of Information, Sunny Okereafor, who stated this in a chat with Vanguard in Aba while reacting to allegations of sabotage to the Movement leveled against Uwazuruike by Mr. Uchenna Madu, accused the latter of being sponsored to destroy MASSOB and engaging in various acts of sabotage against the Movement.

Okereafor maintained that the call by Madu for the probe of MASSOB leaders is a plot meant to ensure that the Movement is distracted from its objectives and described Uwazuruike as a selfless leader.

According to him, "If he now accuses Uwazuruike of not caring for members, how did Uchenna Madu become a rich man today? Is it not Uwazuruike who assisted him? Uwazuruike is a selfless leader. As at today; he has willed all his property to MASSOB and continues to support MASSOB members. Do you know how much Uwazuruike has lost in the Biafra struggle, suffering countless detention and other deprivations? Is this the caliber of man Uchenna Madu is accusing of sabotaging MASSOB?

"Madu is not a member of MASSOB. He was expelled and he went to form Progressive MASSOB working for the enemies of Ndigbo. He should cover his face in shame for all subversive activities against MASSOB and Ndigbo."
